The majority of plants in Janesce Skincare products are grown, harvested and extracted at Claret Ash Farm – an organic, biodynamic garden in the Adelaide Hills of Australia.
Janesce products contain up to 70% more plant actives than many other botanical ranges.
Plant actives are extracted from plants in the onsite lab at Claret Ash Farm. They are left to mature for years at a time, like a fine wine.
There are no nasties in Janesce products.
Plant extracts provide the active ingredients in each product.
Moisturisers feature quality plant oils and shea butter.
Waxes are plant-based, derived from coconut oil.

Our skin has a natural barrier. It protects the deeper layers of skin from environmental irritants. In the beauty industry today, this skin barrier is often stripped away through over-cleansing, exfoliation and harsh peels.
At Janesce we have the upmost respect for the skin barrier. We believe it is vital to work in harmony with the skin’s defences, not against them. Our skincare philosophy works to strengthen this layer and foster a healthy, natural glow.

In Janesce, we place a high priority on strengthening the skin barrier – the uppermost layers of skin that protect the vulnerable layers beneath. Over-cleansing can undermine the skin barrier. This is one of the biggest causes of skin problems, even for oily skin! This is why we recommend you cleanse in the evening only.
In the morning, simply wipe the skin with a damp cloth and move onto The Janesce Skin Soaking Routine. This will remove any excess oil or perspiration without compromising the skin barrier.
What kind of skin do you have:
Strong, healthy skin
Strong, healthy skin is fairly robust. It doesn’t easily react to harsh environments or changes in skin care products. You may experience mild skin imbalances like oiliness down the T zone or dryness on the checks, you may even get the odd breakout but on the whole your skin is fairly strong.

Dehydrated or sensitive skin
Technically, sensitive skin refers to skin that is genetically less robust than other skin types, even when it is healthy. However, many people experience skin sensitivity as a result of a compromised skin barrier. The barrier is the skin’s natural protective layer. When this is weakened, irritants can get in and set up inflammation in the deeper layers of the skin. Valuable surface hydration is also lost. This can lead to dull, red, blemished, dehydrated skin.

Extremely sensitive skin
Extremely sensitive skin is typically the result of a compromised skin barrier. The barrier is the skin’s natural protective layer. When it is weakened, irritants can get in and set up inflammation in the deeper layers of the skin. Hyper-sensitive skin can present as red, inflamed, stressed or blemished skin. It is also a common denominator in skin problems such as acne, pimples, redness, rashes and extreme dryness.

The Janesce Skin Soaking Ritual
Most women have dehydrated skin without even knowing it. They have come to accept dull, dry skin as the norm - but it doesn't need to be that way!
Rehydrating the skin’s outer layers helps to correct these conditions.
This is where the Janesce Skin Soaking Ritual truly shines. Skin soaking is truly transformative and can bring dull skin back to life.
How to Skin Soak:

Step One:
In the morning fill your sink with warm water, add a few soaking drops to the water and take several deep breaths, enjoying the therapeutic fragrance.
In the evening, begin by cleansing your skin of makeup, sunblock chemicals and pollutants that can build up during the day. Follow with the soaking ritual (as above). -
Did you know:
Janesce Soaking Drops transform skin soaking into a fragrant self care ritual. They soften the water, breaking down its surface tension. This makes it easier for your skin to drink in the much needed hydration.
As an added bonus, the essential oils they contain have specific benefits for skin and emotional wellbeing. -
Step Two:
Immerse your Janesce Soaking Cloth in the warm water, wring out the excess and press the damp cloth to your face and neck area. Take five slow, deep breaths and enjoy the process.
Repeat this step at least three times to ensure your skin is fully hydrated. -
Step Three:
Immediately after soaking, apply a Janesce botanical mist, serum and/or
concentrate. These provide powerful plant therapy to treat your skin. Each Janesce Glow Pack comes with an instruction booklet outlining which products to use and in what order.Do not dry your face or let the moisture evaporate as this will undermine the benefits of skin soaking.

Step Four:
Apply a Janesce moisturiser or facial oil to seal in all that botanically-enriched hydration. Janesce products have been especially formulated to capture and lock in this moisture
